Medications and Prescriptions

We strive to provide medication access to all our patients and we provide free medications at our mobile clinic sites. We also utilize our partnerships to ensure that everyone has access to the medications they are prescribed. Some of the programs we use to provide free medications include:

  • Direct Relief, Americares, and Map International provide us with a basic formulary of the most common medications used by our patients.

  • Good Pill is a mail-order pharmacy that provides very low cost medications in 90-day supply directly to the patient's house. Most medications cost $6 for a full 90-day supply. Visit goodpill.org for more information on how the program works.

  • Our Patient Assistant Program (PAP) allows us to apply for expensive, name-brand medications directly from the drug manufacturer. Medications include insulin, GLP-1 medications, inhalers, and other medications at no cost to the patient. Our partners determine patient eligibility and our care coordinator can assist in the application process.

  • Good Rx is a free coupon-based program that allows cash-pay patients a deep discount on most basic medications and is accepted at all major pharmacies. Visit goodrx.com for more information on how their program works and to check the cost of medications at your local pharmacy.

Bloodwork & Labs

On-site Bloodwork & Labs

We offer low-cost lab testing on our mobile clinic. Our labs are specially priced for those who are uninsured. Please be prepared to donate towards the cost of labs. We will not turn anyone away in need and can provide free lab testing if necessary.

Health Ed

Health & Nutrition Education -
Diabetes Intervention Program (DIP)

Thanks to our partnership with the Georgia Charitable Care Network, Kaiser Foundation, and the Cobb EMC Foundation, we have developed a Diabetes Intervention Program (DIP), which is a mobile clinic focused solely on provided education, nutrition, foot care, movement, cooking classes, art classes, and more. We believe that education is a powerful tool to a healthy life and those who are diagnosed with diabetes often face many challenges in receiving the support that they so desperately need.

We provide FREE glucometers, test strips, lancets, blood pressure monitors, weight & BMI calculating scales, and more to our patients who attend our DIP Mobile classes to help them accurately measure their blood sugars, blood pressures, and weight as we learn to make better food choices, understand the benefits of regular movement, learn how to deal with stress, and implement Better Habits for Better Health.

For more information on how to join our DIP mobile, please contact our office.
